My new tapestry Gaia Song Green is now showing online as part of Tapestry Touring International's New Directions exhibition. My new direction statement is to listen for the songs and take heed. You can view the exhibition on the Tapestry Touring International website.
The New Directions exhibition is organised by Jane Freear-Wyld and curated online by Lindsey Marshall. New Directions is Tapestry Touring International’s first invitation only online exhibition. Weavers were asked to design and weave a tapestry taking New Directions as the theme, and explain that new direction in up to 8 words. The small format hand woven tapestries have a maximum size of 25 x 25 cm.
The exhibition includes tapestries by UK, Canadian, Australian, American and Danish weavers.
